The courteous staff, particularly the helpful counter aunties, made me feel right at home.However, the room's simplicity was evident, with limited TV channels and the absence of an in-room phone, though the Wi-Fi availability proved satisfactory. The 24-hour eatery nearby and various dining options opposite the hotel were excellent for culinary exploration.In weighing cost against luxury, Uptown Hotel emerges as a solid choice for those seeking practicality and convenience over extravagant amenities. It strikes a balance between affordability and comfort, making it a viable option for budget-conscious travelers seeking a cozy stay in the heart of the city.
